Data that matters for managerial decisions is piling up at an incredible rate. Big data analytics is the set of techniques that turns that raw data into insight: spotting trends, predicting outcomes and exploring scenarios before committing to them.

This MQA-approved, two-day programme introduced key decision-makers, executives and policy makers to the role of big data and to the most widely used analytics tools, with cases from banking, aviation, health and marketing. Participants then followed one complete analytics journey from start to finish. The programme was followed by a session for Air Mauritius on what data analytics can do for airlines.
