Two full day training program with day 1 theme "Collaborating Accross Boundaries in Financial Services" and day 2 theme "Leading Professional Service Firms".
Dr. Ashish Nanda was Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) in India up to September 2017. IIMA is the premier management school in India.
Dr. Nanda continues to be affiliated with Harvard University as Robert Braucher Professor of Practice (on leave) at Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School Executive Education Fellow. He continues to teach in executive education programs at Harvard University.
Dr. Nanda has a PhD in Business Economics (Harvard), AM in Economics (Harvard), PGDM in Management (IIM Ahmedabad), and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (IIT Delhi). Before his PhD, he worked for five years with the Tata group of companies as Tata Administrative Services officer.
First and foremost, the overall organisation of the workshop was excellent and the facilities were of a very good standard. The registration of participants was well organised and the logistics around the training programme was well managed by the organisers.
Dr Ashish Nanda’s delivery was one of the best I have seen in similar configuration, i.e. open workshop for 50 + participants. His mastery of the subject ‘Leading Professional Service Firms’ is outstanding. He had a good command of the programme’s content as well as the concepts. His excellent presentation skills together with a high energy level delivery, captivated the audience attention in the training room throughout the day from start to finish. I would most certainly recommend this workshop to others.
Well done for your first training program, which was of a very good level. The quality of the speaker to my view was the largest contributor to success of the event. The location and the support provided by your team were also important. In my view there is a gap in the market for training given by high calibre professors and who use the case method for teaching. Best of luck for your future endeavours.
Conclusion: I really learnt a lot from the training which I would qualify as excellent!
Petit clin d’oeil a Setpmedia: very good initiative, I would be again a candidate on their next course (similarly organised) if applicable to my career…
I thoroughly enjoyed the training and would recommend it to my colleagues anytime. The organisation was perfect and I really only have good memories and great lessons learned from the day.
The course was exceptionally helpful and Professor Nanda was outstanding.
I think it was a great initiative and I look forward to similar courses in the future.
